I’m just quickly testing WordPress 2 for the iPhone to see how it will work as a blogging tool. The will enable me to update most of my sites from wherever I am.
This might just come in very handy next week when we’re at the beach.

It was great to see my son (Alex) take part in his first rugby game against another team. He is in grade R (pre-school) and they just started learning how to play rugby this year. Below is a video clip of his team against the grade 1 team.
P.S. This was a great opportunity to test my new Canon HV40 camera – although it’s hard to see the actual quality on a website.
I can’t wait to attend the next Stompernet Live7 event in Atlanta next month. I’ve just booked my flight and made reservations at the hotel.
Jerry West and David Bullock will be giving a presentation on how they dominate their markets. Both are well-known experts in their respective fields (Jerry West: SEO & Design, David Bullock: Tracking & Analytics). Since the presentation will not be recorded or released in the Stompernet portal I have decided that this should be enough reason to attend (not that the rest of the presentations will not be mind-blowing, it’s just that I would have waited for the online versions instead).
When I get back we will immediately put the information and knowledge gained at the event to good use.
Wow, this was one busy weekend and I think I need another just to recover from this one. Friday we prepared for Mieka’s birthday party – blowing up balloons, filling candy boxes, etc.
On Saturday we got the kiddies pool ready and the first kids came earlier than expected. Kids had a blast with water balloons and swimming all day. Meanwhile we made some pizza in the pizza oven (it does taste better than in a normal oven).
Saturday evening we went to a valentines dance – food was great but I did not really like the music – only Afrikaans, and of the two English songs I heard that night one was a cover version
At least the food was good. They served schnitzel and chips.
Sunday we went to church and afterwards the family came over for a braai. We started cleaning up and doing some dishes.
